Sailing World, Inc. started business in 1982 known originally as Sailboats, Inc. and has grown over the years to be known as the place for small and trailerable sailboats. We know sailboats because we love them and sail them, not just sell them.
SWI also owns and operates Bay View Marina. Bay View Marina is a picturesque 94 slip facility located in the town of Fox Lake, Illinois. The marina is situated in a quiet bay of Pistakee Lake on the southern end of the Chain Ò Lakes. It is known as the "Sailboat Marina" and as the nicest slips on the chain.
